Our Story

The cars at Kelowna Grand Prix are the result of a 24 month test and development program.  They are considered by the experts to be the best in the fields of 3/4 scale formula racers.

Using the engineering principles developed from their Indianapolis 500, Can-Am and formula cars, Kelowna Grand Prix has designed and produced the Grand Prix car at their facilities in Los Angeles, California for you!  This $30,000US racing machine is made specifically for the tight twisting turns you will find at Kelowna Grand Prix.

The cars are powered by 40 horse power, 2 stroke engines and while capable of speeds in excess of 90 MPH on the straight away, maximum speeds reached on the course will be between 40 and 50 MPH depending on the skill of the driver.  The highly responsive steering, suspension and brakes (modeled precisely after the larger cars) provide the same true racing experience of full formula cars.  They require a sensitive touch and coordination for maximum performance.

Each car is given a thorough inspection every day for your safety and test driven to ensure that they are as equal as possible for the enjoyment.

If you are ready for fascinating thrills, drive the cars at Kelowna Grand Prix.  In one lap, you will realize the skill and ability men like Andretti and Villeneuve have.

With practice and determination, you too can master the skill of controlling a pure racing machine in the most competitive spirit at Kelowna Grand Prix.
